About Elizabeth Sochka

I am Elizabeth Sochka, (b. 1998) a New York based–artist who specializes in conceptual photography. I am a graduate from The New School: School of Public Engagement with an MA in Media Studies with a minor in Transmedia and Digital Storytelling. For undergrad, I attended The New School: Parsons and Eugene Lang pursuing a dual degree. BA/BFA student at The New School: At Parsons, I majored in Photography and studied Media/Cultural studies at Lang.

In addition to art, I am passionate about music and its relationship to math. Feminism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and mental health struggles—all important aspects of life—inform my art.
