About Elizabeth Sochka
I am Elizabeth Sochka, a BA/BFA student at The New School: Parsons School of Design and Eugene Lang. At Parsons, I am majoring in Photography and studying Media/Cultural studies at Lang. I come from a STEM background in high school where I was co-captain of the robotics team, earned the programming award, and graduated with the STEM endorsement. Though I spent long hours in the computer lab and science wing I also was passionate about art and music. My final project for the STEM endorsement was to combine group theory, the mathematics of symmetry, and music theory to write a musical composition.
